Kattha Isynau is a Burnt to Raw Umber. because of the iron content, as t oxidizes it turns into more of a raw umber hue, but on some fibers comes up more Burnt Umber. Of course, if you would like a standard Burnt Umber, the combination of Kattha and Kattha Isynau will develop the hue you desire!
Artist inks are to be used in standard ink use on paper, board, etc. Because they are stabilized, the inks will also work well on painting, drawing, or printing on protein fibers, although the Protein paint is suggested for working on fibers, but it can also be used on paper but will have more body and gel to it. Inks will clearly have a more fluid application than the Protein paints. Either can also be watered down and blended but as these are living hue tinctures, each hue naturally oxidizes— meaning the color will shift from the wet to dry version of the color making your art making process an adventure as you release control of the process.
